Solar+Storage for Affordable Housing in Nashville

Be A Helping Hand is pioneering the integration of solar and battery storage systems into affordable housing in Nashville. Inspired by the devastating 2020 tornado and pandemic, this initiative ensures families have reliable backup power during Tennessee’s frequent storm-related outages. With support from Clean Energy Group, BHH is piloting solar+storage installations and launching a workforce development program to create clean energy jobs in underserved communities.
